There have been wide debates whether or not Disney's baby Einstein 26DVDs can live up to the claims as a product that can help educate and improve your baby's brain developement and verbal and motor skills with the products they use on the baby Einstein 26DVDs DVD's. Some speculate that baby Einstein 26DVDs takes away from the child, and that children under two years should not be at home watching dvd's on t.v, rather they should be out socialising with other kids their age, and with their parents - whom they learn the most from. There have been no positive or negative findings on the product to say that baby Einstein 26DVDs is as good as people say or as bad. Personally, I think baby Einstein 26DVDs' just a matter of personal taste & opinion. I think where the problem lies, is that some parents use baby Einstein 26DVDs as a substitute parent - instead of using baby Einstein 26DVDs as an opportunity to watch and interact with their child. I think parent involvement is the stimulation the child needs to learn more than just being plonked infront of a screen and watch baby Einstein 26DVDs by themselves with minimal parental involvement.

I recently purchased a 25 DVD gift set with the bonus baby Einstein 26DVDs DVD included. Skipped through them all to make sure they work. I don't know how educational it really is, but I think baby Einstein 26DVDs would certainly grab the childs attention with the puppets, cards and vivid colours. Each baby Einstein 26DVDs disc is aimed at a certain stage in your chids life ( 0-3 months, 3-6 etc) so it has a good variety, and 26 discs lasta a long time. here's what is included:

I think spending time with your child is precious, nomatter what. I seriously doubt my child going to become the next rocket scientist, but I'm 100% sure she's going to benefit from the stimulation of spending time and being silly with mom, especially since I'm going to be working full time, and we won't have much time together. I think baby Einstein 26DVDs is a good product, and baby Einstein 26DVDs wouldn't be around if baby Einstein 26DVDs wasn't. Well worth the money!
